Blaine Scully voted Leicester player of the month

American winger Blaine Scully only initially joined Leicester on a short term contract, but has impressed and now has been rewarded by the fans who voted him the Tigers player of the month for February.

Scully signed for Leicester in September on a trial 3 month deal, that the Tigers signed him in the first place was a surprise given his lack of experience at 15's level and injury problems that meant he didn't win a single cap in 2012. But he impressed and was soon rewarded with an extension until the end of the season and has had far more game time than was initially expected with injuries to the likes of Gonzalo Camacho and Miles Benjamin over the course of the season.

The move has worked tremendously for Scully, he now has regained his starting position in the Eagles side and has impressed and worked hard with Tigers coach Geordan Murphy and he is hoping to stay beyond the end of the season.
